About us

Oregon Rain Naturals began with a simple belief: the things we use on our skin should be gentle, honest, and made with care.

We’re Johnna and Rob Zeigler, the husband‑and‑wife team behind Oregon Rain Soap Company and Oregon Rain Naturals. From our home in Sherwood, Oregon, we handcraft small‑batch soaps, natural lotions, and artisan body care inspired by the beauty and purity of the Pacific Northwest.

Soapmaking has been part of my life since childhood, and in 2003 Rob encouraged me to turn that lifelong passion into Oregon Rain Soap. What started with one lavender bar has grown into a full line of handmade soaps and natural body care products crafted with real Oregon rainwater and skin‑loving ingredients—especially comforting for sensitive skin.

Every batch is made by hand, tested on family, and created with intention. Our hope is that each bar and bottle brings a little comfort, a little beauty, and a little bit of Oregon into your day.

Inspired by Cannon Beach, Oregon

Cannon Beach is a small seaside town on Oregon's North Coast, known for its sweeping sandy shoreline and iconic Haystack Rock, a 235-foot basalt sea stack rising from the edge of the Pacific. At low tide, colorful tidepools surround its base, while Tufted Puffins return to nest on the rock in spring and summer. Cannon Beach

And here's a fun bit of Oregon history: Cannon Beach really was named for a cannon. The USS Shark wrecked near the mouth of the Columbia River in 1846, and one of its cannons eventually washed ashore. The area came to be called Cannon Beach in 1891. Cannon Beach
