About us

Oregon Rain Naturals began with a simple belief: the things we use on our skin should be gentle, honest, and made with care.

We’re Johnna and Rob Zeigler, the husband‑and‑wife team behind Oregon Rain Soap Company and Oregon Rain Naturals. From our home in Sherwood, Oregon, we handcraft small‑batch soaps, natural lotions, and artisan body care inspired by the beauty and purity of the Pacific Northwest.

Soapmaking has been part of my life since childhood, and in 2003 Rob encouraged me to turn that lifelong passion into Oregon Rain Soap. What started with one lavender bar has grown into a full line of handmade soaps and natural body care products crafted with real Oregon rainwater and skin‑loving ingredients—especially comforting for sensitive skin.

Every batch is made by hand, tested on family, and created with intention. Our hope is that each bar and bottle brings a little comfort, a little beauty, and a little bit of Oregon into your day.

Soy Melts

Oregon Rain Soy Melts (previously named Tarts) are handmade and hand poured by Oregon Rain Soap Company using a soy & coconut wax blend.

What are soy melts? They are exactly like our soy candles but without a wick. Use them in an electric warmer that will melt the soy and scent the room air without the worries of a burning flame. We make our melts with soy because it supports U.S.A. farmers, melts cleaner than paraffin blends and it has a terrific scent throw. The handmade Melts break apart into 6 separate cubes making them easy to use. Generally the scent of each cube will last for about 20 - 30 hours depending upon the warmer used to melt them.  If you want to change the scent, just pour the melted soy wax back into the handy plastic packaging it came in and close the lid for later use. It will harden again when it cools. Wipe the bowl down with a paper towel or wash with soap and water. Soy wax is water soluble so no worries about a waxy mess!  Or get creative and mix different scented cubes to make your own blend.
