About us

Oregon Rain Naturals began with a simple belief: the things we use on our skin should be gentle, honest, and made with care.

We’re Johnna and Rob Zeigler, the husband‑and‑wife team behind Oregon Rain Soap Company and Oregon Rain Naturals. From our home in Sherwood, Oregon, we handcraft small‑batch soaps, natural lotions, and artisan body care inspired by the beauty and purity of the Pacific Northwest.

Soapmaking has been part of my life since childhood, and in 2003 Rob encouraged me to turn that lifelong passion into Oregon Rain Soap. What started with one lavender bar has grown into a full line of handmade soaps and natural body care products crafted with real Oregon rainwater and skin‑loving ingredients—especially comforting for sensitive skin.

Every batch is made by hand, tested on family, and created with intention. Our hope is that each bar and bottle brings a little comfort, a little beauty, and a little bit of Oregon into your day.

Goat's Milk Soap

Oregon Rain Handmade Goat's Milk Soap contains nourishing vitamins, minerals and restorative proteins that benefit the skin. These include vitamins A, E, C, some of the B vitamins, amino and citric acids, unsaturated fatty acids and zinc. The pH of goat's milk is closer to the pH of human skin and prevents dryness while allowing nutrients to enter the skin. Another benefit that our handmade goat's milk soap has is that it contains natural alpha hydroxy acid, which is a natural exfoliant element that removes dead skin cells from your skin. Oregon Rain Handmade Goat's Milk Soap is extremely mild and beneficial for people with sensitive skin or eczema or suffer from skin irritations, or itchiness. Also, recent studies have discovered that handmade goat’s milk soap is beneficial to getting rid of acne.

We do not raise our own milk goat's but we do buy our fresh goat's milk from a local farmer who raises happy, healthy, hormone free goat's. We go out to the farm and pick up our milk and get to watch these fun creatures run, hop, skip and play.
