About us

Oregon Rain Naturals began with a simple belief: the things we use on our skin should be gentle, honest, and made with care.

We’re Johnna and Rob Zeigler, the husband‑and‑wife team behind Oregon Rain Soap Company and Oregon Rain Naturals. From our home in Sherwood, Oregon, we handcraft small‑batch soaps, natural lotions, and artisan body care inspired by the beauty and purity of the Pacific Northwest.

Soapmaking has been part of my life since childhood, and in 2003 Rob encouraged me to turn that lifelong passion into Oregon Rain Soap. What started with one lavender bar has grown into a full line of handmade soaps and natural body care products crafted with real Oregon rainwater and skin‑loving ingredients—especially comforting for sensitive skin.

Every batch is made by hand, tested on family, and created with intention. Our hope is that each bar and bottle brings a little comfort, a little beauty, and a little bit of Oregon into your day.

Essential Oils

At Oregon Rain Soap, we know that not all essential oils are created equally. For this reason, each of the EOs we sell is guaranteed to be 100% pure, natural, and of the highest quality for aromatherapy.  We will be continuing to add more essentials but the ones we are starting with are our favorites.

What is aromatherapy? 

Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils also called essential oils that are extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being.

The inhaled aroma from these natural oils are widely believed to stimulate brain function. Essential oils when added to a carrier oil can also be absorbed through the skin, where they travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing.
 
Aromatherapy is gaining momentum as an alternative way to promote healing naturally. It is used for a variety of applications, including pain relief, mood enhancement and increased cognitive function.

Each essential oil has their own healing properties.
