About us

Oregon Rain Naturals began with a simple belief: the things we use on our skin should be gentle, honest, and made with care.

We’re Johnna and Rob Zeigler, the husband‑and‑wife team behind Oregon Rain Soap Company and Oregon Rain Naturals. From our home in Sherwood, Oregon, we handcraft small‑batch soaps, natural lotions, and artisan body care inspired by the beauty and purity of the Pacific Northwest.

Soapmaking has been part of my life since childhood, and in 2003 Rob encouraged me to turn that lifelong passion into Oregon Rain Soap. What started with one lavender bar has grown into a full line of handmade soaps and natural body care products crafted with real Oregon rainwater and skin‑loving ingredients—especially comforting for sensitive skin.

Every batch is made by hand, tested on family, and created with intention. Our hope is that each bar and bottle brings a little comfort, a little beauty, and a little bit of Oregon into your day.

All Lotions & Creams

Oregon Rain Naturals lotions are handcrafted in small batches using real Oregon rainwater—clean, naturally soft water collected from the sky and purified for exceptional skin hydration. We create several unique lotion formulas, each designed with its own blend of skin‑loving ingredients to meet different skin‑care needs. Some recipes feature nourishing oils like cranberry seed, meadowfoam, jojoba, or high oleic sunflower, while others include soothing botanicals such as aloe vera, rosehip, or evening primrose. Every formula is intentionally crafted to absorb quickly, feel silky and lightweight, and leave skin soft without greasiness.

When a scent exists in nature—like lavender, peppermint, or sweet orange—we use essential oils for their aromatherapy and skin‑supporting benefits. When a scent doesn’t exist as an essential oil—such as blackberry or lilac—we use cosmetic‑grade fragrance oils that are phthalate‑free and skin‑safe, while still keeping our lotions over 98% natural.

We never use alcohol, mineral oil, or petroleum. Our lotions moisturize effectively, feel comfortable on sensitive skin, and keep hands and body hydrated even after multiple washings.
