Each bar is handcrafted and handmade especially for you! Our soap bars are really made with Oregon rainwater that we collect, filter and purify ourselves. We use rainwater because it's a soft water and a natural resource adding uniqueness to our products. We also use olive oil for its skin conditioning properties and coconut, rice bran and castor oils to provide a gentle, creamy, fluffy lather. We use natural colorants, herbs, nutrients and essential oils for aromatherapy benefits when we can. Otherwise, we use cosmetic grade colorants and fragrance oils for vibrant color and scent. Each bar is aged for at least 30 days. Not only will the soap last longer, but it will also be at the optimum mildness.

Doesn't foam very much
I used it with a washcloth and with a net scrubbing ball and got almost no foam NOTE from OREGON RAIN SOAP: If you have hard water, soap will not foam up very well. Hard water reduces the cleaning capacity of soap. Soap lathers readily with soft water. Rainwater is naturally soft. In contrast, hard water does not produce a good lather, so it is more difficult to wash with soap in hard water. It is also not recommended for bathing, laundry, and laboratory purposes. The minerals in hard water react with soap and affect its cleaning capacity. It’s still possible to use hard water when washing by using more soap. The additional soap will no longer be affected by the minerals in the water, so they can clean just as effectively, but you’ll be wasting more soap this way.

Treat Yourself to Rain Soap
My son, who lives in Oregon, introduced me to Oregon Rain Soap a couple or three years ago and I fell in love with it. He kept me supplied with soap until this year (he no longer had a good source to purchase more.) My first order was a very good experience! I ordered lilac, lavender and peppermint, I knew I liked lavender by using it before. The fragrance of the lilac soap is so nice and oh my, it lathers so well. I'm still sold on Oregon Rain Soap!!!

This soap is rich and creamy and smells just like real lilacs, not some stinky fake sort-of-lilac scent. I have not found a better lilac soap anywhere! It's a good price, and the shipping is very fast.
